I think I am going to set up partnerships in the beginning of the year and will gradually allow the students to choose a partner later on as long as they choose wisely.

I am your newest follower!Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02928849268435887714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7908448804921062719.post-30847056669589741322012-07-14T18:37:06.119-05:002012-07-14T18:37:06.119-05:00I love the quote too! Not reading with the same partner twice in a row might solve the problem of everyone wanting to read with the same kid; might be a little more record-keeping, though. Thanks for your thoughts!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7908448804921062719.post-70804413792419121322012-07-11T18:51:23.464-05:002012-07-11T18:51:23.464-05:00I also loved that intro quote in this chapter. I am just a newbie to the D5, but I wonder if giving a rule that they can't read with the same partner twice in a row(or whatever is decided upon)if that is a concern for you. Having not done it yet, I'm not sure if I would care or not. Part of me also thinks that maybe if they are on task and working well together, it doesn't really matter. If the point is practicing reading and they are doing it that's more important than changing up all the time.Pumpkin Delight (Kimberly)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15754292671421221960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7908448804921062719.post-68529076090802832032012-07-11T16:08:02.726-05:002012-07-11T16:08:02.726-05:00Thank you so much for linking up, Anne!
