On to the cards! The first card is one that I made for last week's CAS-ual Friday challenge to make a shaped card. I wasn't able to submit it, though, because we didn't have internet. I got the idea from a Papercraft magazine. I used my Cricut Wildcard cartridge to cut the card. I just bought my Cricut recently and have been searching for ways to use it in my stamping projects. I also plan to use it for bulletin boards at school:)
My second card is for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 28. I stamped the You Rule ala Mode on white and colored her with Copics. I traced around her with an NO gray Copic to give her some dimension and make her stand out. Then I found this awesome ribbon in my stash with the alphabet on it! Perfect! Love it when that happens!! I used Circa 1934 dp and a Jenni Bowlin journaling spot. The ala Mode and the journaling spot are popped up.
I'm starting to get the back to school bug! I'm thinking about new things that I want to do this year and how I want the room's design to be more functional for the kids:)
