Good Evening! I'm so happy to get the chance to play in this month's bloghop for Papertrey Ink! You can find all the wonderful participants and their creations here.
My dad's birthday is May 7th, so I thought I'd create a card for him. He's a special person, a great dad and I love him so much!! I used paper scraps for my card and three different Papertrey Ink stamp sets to create it. I really like to use kraft for a masculine card so I started with that as my base. I matted two pieces of scrap paper from my stash and stamped the fillable frame with a nod to Mish's great style! Then I stamped the stars and punched them out. It's so great that the stamped images fit right within the punch lines. Then I used pop dots to pop up the sentiment and stars at different heights...probably hard to tell that in the photo. Then I was done!!! Such fun! It was one of those nights when I didn't know if I had any mojo in me, but I'm happy with this card. Thanks for coming to look:)
