Friends with Flair!

Good Morning! I created five of these cards for friends of mine at work. Like many school districts in Illinois and the nation, our district let go all nontenured teachers. My friends are such wonderful teachers who I feel blessed to work with. My hope is that they are all called back, but there just aren't enough positions to go around with all the cuts my district is facing. Anyway, I wanted to give them a little pick-me -up and tell them how great they are and how much I care!

My card is made from several Unity Kit of the Months. If you'd like to learn how to get some of Unity's wonderful stamps at a great deal, click on the sale picture below!!

Stamp Sets: Oct10 KOM, Dec10 KOM, Feb11 KOM: Unity
CS: Yoyo Yellow: Stampin' UP, White: Papertrey Ink
Ink: Tuxedo Black Memento
Extras: Red gemstone, Copics, Stampin' UP markers

What a great card and lovely thought for such underrated workers who do so much for our children.

All non-tenured teachers? Oh my! That is so sad! All this craziness that's going on is so stressful. My fifth grade is moving to the Middle School to make room for kindergarteners and first graders. (This was achieved by cutting many teachers at the MS and HS levels.) I don't want to leave my building and friends! But at least I still have a job, right!

OK, enough complaining! Your card is so pretty and such a nice gesture. I'm sure they will be touched by your thoughtfulness!
