Gardening

Hello!! It is a rainy, hot morning here in Illinois. Since I couldn't be out in my garden, I decided to bring the garden inside! Actually, I was trying to think of an idea to go with the JUGS color challenge this week that is navy, green, orange and cream. I was stuck until I remembered this great garden set I got from Stampin' UP several years ago! I think it's a perfect fit, if I do say so myself! I had lots of fun going on the internet to see what the flowers for each herb looked like. I know, sounds crazy, but I really enjoyed myself and learned about the herbs along the way.

I hope your day is filled with beautiful gardens and sunshine!

Anne, great job with the coloring. I, too, go to the internet for photographs so that I can color with a little realism:-) I love the way you incorporate the JUGS colors into this card. really fabulous job. Also.... the sentiment is perfect - I never seem to have enough "thyme" either :-)

Oh, I remember this set! I never owned it, but always loved it! I love the thought of gardening, but I'm not very good at it! Wish I was! Your card is lovely, and I love the way you used the JUGs colors! Thanks so much for playing with Just Us Girls!
