Hello! Today's card is for the JUGS challenge to use the "spotlight" technique. I have to tell you that the green color on the cakes is actually yellow IRL! What's with that?!? The color combo works nicely without that wicked neon green there!! Can't wait to build that light box....I enjoyed working on this card. I haven't used the spotlight technique recently and it was fun to do it again. I used one of my favorite retired sets from Stampin' UP, Simply Sweet. I added the layers, some prima flowers, gems and a sentiment from Mixed Messages by Papertrey Ink. I love this dp but I can't remember what company it's from. All I have are bits and pieces that I've hoarded for a while:)
This technique is making me itch for some great floral stamps to try it on. I really need them, don't I?
