Good Morning! Today's card is a bit brighter than my usual style. I thought the colors were fun for a kid's birthday. This is my last challenge card for Unity's World Card Making Days Challenges. It is for their first challenge that is to dry emboss a background and then sand it. When you use white core paper this is what it looks like. I thought my new alphabet background embossing folder was perfect for this!!
Hello! A friend of mine at school asked me to make some cards for her son to take to birthday parties. He is 3 years old, so I wanted to make the cards bright and CAS. He also loves trains, so I decided on this cute stamp from Unity. I used the current sketch challenge from My Unity Place for my card design.

Hello! Today I'm playing along with All Things Unity and the Unity Kit of the Month Sketch Challenge. I'm ahead of things for once and made this anniversary card for my husband. Our anniversary isn't until the end of July!! Hope I can find this card wherever I stash it:) The background dp has little stars on it, perfect for this image and sentiment. On the inside, I have a smaller diagonal strip of it with the sentiment, "Happy Anniversary."

Hello, Friends! I made this card for two challenges. The first challenge is the current JUGS color challenge. It was a challenge for me to even find these colors:) Thankfully I had some scraps in my stash and a great dp with the colors in it.
The second challenge is Crazy 4 Challenge 92 to use twine. I love all the luscious twine colors and plan to use them more often!

Hello! Today's card is for Unity's monthly challenge. The challenge this month is to incorporate birds into a card. I just love this sweet little bird image and thought that it begged to be paper pieced! The bling inside the flower stickers is actually red. I'm not sure why it looks so black in the photo! Hello! Today's card is based on the April Sketch for You to Try. I just love sketch challenges because they give me an idea to think about and play with. Speaking of love, I LOVE the border stamp that I used from Unity's Jan 11 KOM! The text and the flowers just speak to me. I can't believe that I haven't used it before, but I plan to get it inky again in the near future. I used lots of matting and some cutting with deckle edge scissors to make my card. I cut apart the sentiment so that I could fit it just where I wanted it. Don't you love that twine!?! It's called Cappuccino and you can find it at the Twinery! They have lots of fun colors.
Hello! A completely CAS and masculine card today. I needed to fill my stash and this seemed to be just the ticket! I really like the different stamps in Unity's Authentic Man set. I've popped up the star and the sentiment (from the Jan11 KOM), although it's hard to see in the pic!

Hello! This is my first time trying the Blogger's Challenge. The challenge was to use black, white and red. Because I LOVE valentines, that's what I made. I'll have to give this to someone special, because I really do LOVE chocolate:) I stamped the heart background from Simple Valentine by Papertrey Ink. Then I added the scalloped strip. Next I stamped the label from Unity's Jan 11 KOM. I popped it up on pop dots. I added a heart and the sentiment last.
My next card is for the Mojo Monday Challenge. Another valentine, of course! This was a fun sketch to try. I enjoyed the curved line and was challenged to try something new! The DP is from We R Memory Keepers and the hearts are cut from the same paper. The circle embellishment is made from Papertrey Ink's 1 3/4 circle die cut collection. I used Papertrey Ink's Simple Valentine stamp set to add the heart and sentiment. Pearls finished the card!
Hello Unity Friends! First, I have a CAS valentine to share with you. I used the December 10 KOM image and my favorite red, white and black. Another try at my Bow Easy and some glitter on the heart and I was done! Below I have two other cards. One is awaiting a sentiment and uses images from the Dec 10 KOM. The other is a sympathy card using Insightful Meadows and a January 11 KOM sentiment.
